Anglers Widow Event- With WI Fishing Opener a week away, local retailers are gearing up some shopping fun for those who choose to remain on land. According to the Chetek Alert:

The Angler’s Widow event starts on Monday, April 29, at participating retail businesses. For every $5 you spend, shoppers will receive an entry form for a chance to win one of four gift baskets. Sign-up lasts through Saturday, May 4. Participating businesses include Candy Corner & Creations, Carpe Diem, CJ Conner Art Studio, It’s My Lucky Day Unique Boutique, Just Imagine Floral & Treasures, Off “R” Rockers, Sheila’s Home Décor & More, The Pine Lodge and Whimsical Wares.

Open house will be Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop in to see the new spring inventory and displays.
