Brush Site Volunteers Needed- especially for the 11-3 shift this week. This position involves marking trucks at the gate and directing them as needed.

Our volunteer reception center is no longer staffing regular hours. We are still coordinating some efforts. If you need assistance or would like to volunteer, you can call 715-924-4440 and leave a voicemail or message with the Information Booth staff and we will see if we have resources available.
Brush site will be closing mid-June based on its level of use. If you have have brush to remove, you are encouraged to make arrangements as soon as possible.

The Town of Chetek has completed their roadside brush pick up as of this morning and are advising residents to no longer place brush in the ditches. We will try to assist as volunteers are available but residents should try to make their own arrangements for removal.

Volunteer Coordination will continue 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sunday, June 4th. Thanks to volunteers from Marshfield Area United Way and others, we have some staff to help dispatch volunteers to sites in need of help.
VOLUNTEER NEED- we are in need of volunteers still, especially those with trucks/trailers to haul all sorts of debris throughout the area, there is some saw work remaining as well PLUS ground crews & equipment helping remove debris. You can stop in at the Chetek Information Booth on highway I just east of US53 or fill out this form.
As stated in our press release (view here) we are wrapping up our operation this week but have arranged additional volunteer coordinators through Sunday. If you need clean up assistance, call 715-924-4440 to report. Also, make sure any storm damage or need is also reported to 211.
Chetek Food Shelf has donations to offer storm victims and those who have taken in family/victims. Click for info.
Town of Chetek & Prairie Lake Township have placed dumpsters for non-vegetative debris at R Bar,on 24 3/4 St, &, (coming Wednesday afternoon) Hoover landing. These will be pulled when they are filled or if their use is abused.
St Vincent De Paul is accepting donations and giving vouchers to victims but cannot guarantee that all donations will go to victims. Click here for their site.
Brush Site is currently open 7 days a week 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Donation Fund- the Chetek Lions Club has a fund for relief efforts and victims at Sterling Bank in Chetek.
Make checks out to: Chetek Lions Club, put Disaster Relief in the memo line and drop them off at Sterling Bank on 2nd Street in Chetek or mail them to 427 2nd St. Chetek, WI 54728.
